BENT – As an extension to the awning

With the assist of the Universal Campervan Adapter, you can create a connection between the awning and the Zip Canvas by:

Pulling the kador beading 5,8mm / 7,2mm from the Universal Campervan Adapter into the existing kador rail of the awning.

Fastening the touch fastener of the Universal Campervan Adapter to the tension rack of the awning. If the awning feature a kador rail, you can slide in the kador beading 5,8mm / 7,2mm of the universal campervan adapter into the awning kador rail.

During calm weather conditions, you can use gluing fixation clamps from a DIY store to attach the tarp directly or even pull the zipper of the tarp “Zip Canvas” directly into the kador rail of the awning.

BENT – On the roof top tent

With the assist of the Universal Campervan Adapter, you can build a connection between the roof top tent and the tarp Zip Canvas:

Fasten the touch fasteners of the Universal Campervan Adapter to the roof rack and in combination with the Adapter Tension Pole you get the Universal Campervan Adapter under tension.

The Adapter Tension Pole achieve constant tension and makes it possible to use only the middle 2 touch fasteners and makes the connection versatile and independent of your roof rack size.

For a hard-shell roof tent, you can glue a kador rail and attach the kador of the Universal Campervan Adapter to the subsequently mounted kador rail.

BENT – On Crosscamp or on vehicles with larger kador rails

On vehicles with a kador rail require a diameter larger than 7.2mm for the kador beading, you can attach the Zip Canvas by the Universal Campervan Adapter. We use the solution of a segmented tent aluminum pole with a diameter of 8.5mm and insert into the sleeve of the Universal Campervan Adapter and connect together into the kador rail.

BENT – On the caravan

Simply insert the Universal Campervan Adapter with the kador beading into the kador rail. We recommend using kador rail locking pieces at both ends to lock the Universal Campervan Adapter and prevent from sliding in the kador rail. You just need to zip- connect the tarp Zip Canvas with the Universal Campervan Adapter.

BENT – On 4x4 Conversion

To attach the tarp Zip Canvas to special vehicles or special conversions, you need an aluminum kador rail attached to the vehicle with glue (no drilling necessary).

With the Universal Campervan Adapter you zip in the tarp Zip Canvas. We recommend using kador rail locking pieces at both ends to lock the Universal Campervan Adapter and prevent from sliding in the kador rail.

If the kador rail is shorter than the Universal Campervan Adapter, the additional Adapter Tension Pole can be used to achieve constant tension to the Universal Campervan Adapter.

The Adapter Tension Pole achieve constant tension and makes it possible to use only the middle 2 touch fasteners and makes the connection versatile and independent of your roof rack size.
